The illustrations are simplistic and, at the same time, beautiful. They start out with a somewhat dark mood because the world does need help. The illustrations become progressively lighter and happier as the children of the world find the solution to be within themselves.
One To One, Peace For Today – is written in a poetic style that comes across beautifully when read to children. It is not really a pure children’s book in the sense that it is appropriate for any age group. The first edition was read by the author in schools, primarily for third-grade students. Trina also presented and read it to larger audiences of all ages. Many people commented at the time. In communications since then, many have said that the message was so profound as to change their lives!
Although the message is simply stated, it has a universal appeal. Presented in a non-denominational manner, it alludes to the teachings of Jesus in the Bible.
